MEXICO CITY (AP) — Nicaragua has released 12 Roman Catholic priests jailed on a variety of charges and sent them to Rome following an agreement reached with the Vatican, the Nicaraguan government said in a statement late Wednesday.The government of President Daniel Ortega said that the priests were flown to Rome Wednesday afternoon following productive talks with the Vatican. GREEN ISLAND, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Three men were arrested Tuesday for a robbery in the village of Green Island. The incident took place on George Street.Police said two men struck a delivery driver in the face, which caused the victim to fall on the sidewalk and sustain injuries. ST. LOUIS – A regular rec center visitor is now banned from all facilities in St. Louis after FOX 2 raised the alarm about another sex crime arrest.Samuel L. Butler, 71, was arrested Monday for sex crimes in Benton Park. HAZELWOOD, Mo. – A 46-year-old tax preparer is behind bars Wednesday after allegedly cashing a fraudulent check worth more than $40,000 at a local liquor shop. Her criminal history might surprise you.According to court documents, Tiffany McAllister walked into A-1 Liquor on Sept. 15 and cashed a phony check worth more than $40,000. In mid-October, McAllister found her way back to A-1 and attempted to cash another check, this one worth over $25,000.
